Today we take you deep into the Portuguese countryside to explore a forgotten noble palace, hidden between cork fields and quiet country roads.

Inside, almost everything was still left behind. Grand salons, painted bedrooms, family photographs, children’s toys, trophies, medals, and even a racing suit connected to one of the family’s most tragic stories.

This family made their fortune through Portugal’s cork industry, but behind the luxury was the story of two brothers: one a racing driver, the other a famous bullfighter. In 1941, the bullfighter died not in the arena, but in a racing accident.

Now, after almost twenty years standing empty, the palace remains in the hands of heirs who cannot agree on its future.

So the palace waits… slowly fading away, room by room.
