I swear. This project took longer than I expected.
This idea came to me in the middle of the night when I was about to sleep 2 weeks ago and I just had to start edit it after I got my sleep. That day I made around 40 seconds, obviously it was the calmer part and I had some major inspiration. The rest of the days wasn't as easy and I just made a few seconds each day. xD It was quite challenging to choose the clips so they fit the story I had in mind for it. ouo

PARAGRAPH FOR REPLAYTOURNAMENT:
Hello! I'm Anna. I've always loved animes ever since I was a child(loved it unconsciously since I didn't like the looks of regular cartoons except a few. I loved the style art of for example Pokemon, Sonic X and such.). Reason why I started editing was because I love music, I love movies and I wanted to try to create music videos and express my feelings and imagination through them. I was also inspired by other editors. My personal preferation in music is the emotional ones with a beautiful melody and text. The songs that has a bigger meaning. I love listening to songs that's telling a message.

Story/Plot:
Basically this mostly takes place in Eren's mind. He's in his titan body(since he slightly forgot about himself and rampaged before this happens so outside his mind he's just ''unconsious in the titan body'') and questioning himself ''Why'' he wants to see the outside world and to be with the Survey Corps which goes to the Outside World to get as much information by the titans that's made the human race isolate themselves inside walls to survive. He's having flashbacks of horrible events.
Armin(which is Eren's best friend along with Mikasa) is trying to get contact with him by talking to him by lying down close to the neck, which also resembles the window in Eren's mind. He's telling him that exploring the Outside World was something they wanted to do together, Eren has flashbacks of when Armin showed him a book with landscapes of the outside world and images of how it looks like. He's having more flashbacks of places he went to before (the lake and moonlight part). Armin asks why Eren wants to explore the Outside World even though he knows how horrible it is. Eren then pretty much comes to a ''decision'' or so and then says ''Cause I was born in this world!''. He then goes back to his own self and keeps his consiousness as a titan. And then bam, he wakes up(PLOT TWIST, LOL). I just added that for a fun plot twist, sorry.. XD

But well. The reason to why I named it The Outside World is that it's mainly focused on it in the story. There are different scenes of how dreamlike and wonderful the outside could be and then it also show how dreadful and dangerous it is. Eren and Armin wanted to see the outside world more than anything and are therefore willing to take the risk so they pretty much made a promise. And thanks to Armin reminding Eren about the outside world Eren comes back his senses pretty much. The Outside World is their biggest dream.

I'm terrible at writing stories and summaries with words.. XD

Anyway. This video is my entry for SonicStorm12's contest. Thought I would join since the video fulfilled all the rules and that it'd be a nice challenge. X3

I think this was a challenge since it's my first attempt at making an actual story AMV(that's long) and with tons of voice-overs. I hope I managed to do well. Personally I think it turned out quite good even though the edit is simple. But I don't think this really needs an advanced edit. The clip choices and the story was the most important anyway! I failed at making the intense part more intense but that's kind of all I think was a bit failed. XD
