Wool has long been considered the premium material for hiking clothing layers. Here I put a two-layer system through a wet-and-sweat test! It's built from the new Outdoor Vitals Tern merino wool sun hoodie base layer with Appalachian Gear Company's All-Paca Fleece hoodie as an insulation layer.
