Three days after the horrific Boston Marathon Bombings in April 2013 and with the two perpetrators still at large, Officer Sean Collier was on patrol on the campus of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) when the two perpetrators came behind Officer Collier's patrol car and shot him five times without any hesitation. And thus, at the young age of 26, this event made Sean Collier the 4th victim of the Boston Marathon Bombings.
Officer Collier is buried at Puritan Lawn Memorial Park in Section E, Lot 499, Grave 3 just four rows from Endicott Road between the fountain and the road.
When in Boston please visit the Sean Collier Memorial on the campus of MIT in Cambridge, Massachusetts just outside Building 32.
