As we rapidly approach Sonic The Comic issue #100's Birthday, I wanted to showcase the original artwork from quite possibly the most iconic and well known illustration of not just Super Sonic (or Fleetway Super Sonic, whichever you prefer) but all of Sonic The Comic. That's the legendary image of Super Sonic erupting in an explosion of rage from within the Black Asteroid. This illustration has been floating around on the internet for years now and I want to discuss just how important and influential this piece of Super Sonic is, and also expose those who use it falsely for click bait reasons. Join me in this video as I take you on a journey and show just how awesome Richard Elson's art truly is. Edit: I got the dates wrong in this video and mention the release date for issue #99 instead, issue #100 was released on April 1st!
