Amazing Spider-Talk | The Original "Gang War" (Season 6, Episode 10) @AmazingSpiderTalk | Uploaded January 2024 | Updated October 2024, 13 hours ago.
"...And I Would Have Gotten Away With It Too, If It Weren't For You Meddling Kids!"
On today’s show, Mark and Dan talk about the end of Tom DeFalco and Ron Frenz’s run on Amazing Spider-Man and how it all came crashing down during the original “Gang War” storyline. As Dan and Mark recounted in great detail during their trilogy of Hobgoblin episodes, the Spider-Office was full of turmoil that ultimately ended with Tom and Ron being fired from the book. The results play out against the backdrop of Gang War to create one of the strangest Spider-Man stories ever put to page.
If you’d like to follow along with their discussion by reading this Gang War story, they will be discussing Amazing Spider-Man nos. 284-288. These comics can be found just about anywhere. They aren’t expensive to buy as back issues and they are available in collections and on Marvel Unlimited, as well as Marvel’s digital store.
