This video discusses the Rotterdam Metro, which first opened in 1968. However, due to the conversion of old railway lines to The Hague and Hoek van Holland, the oldest sections now date back to 1908 and 1893. It’s one of the only systems where you can get on a metro, that becomes a light rail, that then becomes a metro again, taking you to the beach on tracks once used by Russian, Polish, Swiss, and German trains.
