The RMP24-micro is our latest QE series probing system and the world’s smallest wireless probe for machine tools.

So, where do potatoes come into it? Well, potato circuits are normally only capable of powering Quartz clock mechanisms. Despite its miniature size, the RMP24-micro continues to push the boundaries of low-power design. So much so that it’s possible to power it from only five potatoes! ⭐

Power optimisations have enabled the RMP24-micro to achieve an operating life of more than 200 hours of continuous use, all from just a pair of coin cell batteries.
