The biggest problems in society are rooted in the expectation that we should just be quiet and not bring our troubles to the table. But it's our mission—if we're to call ourselves Christian—to defend the vulnerable. Standing against the crowd is one of the hardest things someone can choose to do.This song is a call to courage; to do and say what’s right for the right reasons. Our generation is so much more than what we’ve been labeled as—depressed, anxious, apathetic, ignorant. It takes courage to confront problems in our society and face them head on, rather than letting them fester. In my life, I’ve discovered that the words I'm scared to say are usually the only words worth saying.
