This innovative solution uses massive hydraulic ladder trucks with remote-controlled platforms to lift boxes and furniture directly through apartment balconies, bypassing the need to navigate narrow hallways and stairwells.
These specialized vehicles can reach impressive heights of 28 to 70 meters, capable of servicing apartments up to 20 to 23 floors high. The service emerged out of pure necessity, as Korea's rapid urbanization created countless tall residential buildings throughout the country from the 1970s onwards. When bulky furniture couldn't fit through cramped stairwells, moving companies adapted aerial lift technology from fire trucks to create this practical, genius solution.
