I filmed the historic Old Mangaweka Bridge with my drone! Built in 1904, this remarkable steel cantilever bridge spans the Rangitīkei River, linking the Manawatū and Rangitīkei districts. It’s New Zealand’s first and only steel cantilever road bridge, and one of just three surviving cantilever bridges. Closed to vehicles in 2016 due to structural issues, it was later strengthened and now welcomes pedestrians and cyclists. Enjoy this unique view from above!
