THE ODYSSEY continues to crush it at the box office!
Christopher Nolan's latest blockbuster reportedly made $87 million domestically in its second weekend, dropping just 29% after a massive opening. That's an incredible hold for a movie that opened over $100 million and puts its second weekend ahead of Oppenheimer's opening weekend.
For months, The Odyssey was surrounded by online controversy, backlash, boycott talk and predictions that Christopher Nolan had somehow ruined the movie. Instead, the controversy may have created even more interest as audiences turned out to see the movie and decide for themselves.
Now that The Odyssey is clearly succeeding, some of the same people who predicted disaster appear to be moving the goalposts.
