The organizer of the 2024 Nuts & Bolts Rally asked me if the rally cars could make a pit stop at my shop this year. Their route for the day follows dirt roads that are very close to my farm. We were planning for some fun on one of the grassy fields, but rain threw us a curveball!
A quick change of plans and everyone piled into my shop where we held a barbeque or "braai" as we say in South Africa.
This rally was the Garden Route version of 4 different fun events that are held every year. Cars must be pre 1990 and as cheap as possible. It's a 4 day event that travels along dirt roads to many different places, with an overnight stop at camp sites.
