No-input mixing board (NIMB) is a technique I discovered through the work of Toshimaru Nakamura. Feeding a mixing board back onto itself creates a non-linear chaotic system that is extremely rewarding to explore. It puts you in a mind-state of surrender, of playful exploration, of discovery, of contemplation.
