Alan Wake was a masterpiece of thriller video games. It took the best qualities of literature, movies, television, music and other games had to give and combined it into a great experience. This is kind of like a small love letter to Alan Wake, but mostly just a review and analysis of Alan Wake. I’m no game critic, but I think everything Alan Wake had to offer needs to be shown some love since the game is all but forgotten by fans, gaming communities and even the developer.
