A few nights ago God woke something up in me and told me to forgive two people from my past — a minister and a man connected to him who had once used their position to manipulate and push me out of a situation years ago. I thought I had already forgiven them. God showed me there were still layers.
So I prayed. I released them completely. And days later I discovered that around that very same window of time, one of those men had passed away — suddenly, unexpectedly, in the early morning hours. Seven days before, he had preached what would be his final sermon — on facing loss and keeping your eyes on God.
I’m sharing this not to expose anyone or bring shame on anyone’s memory, but because of what God showed me in the timing. He was completing something in me before the window closed. Before eternity made certain things permanent.
