🏁 Cajun Nationals Week continues with one of the most talked-about and controversial races in NHRA history.
The 1981 Cajun Nationals became known as the event where Funny Car racers parked their race cars and boycotted the event over a dispute involving purse money and compensation. The racers were pushing for major increases in national event payouts, creating a standoff that sent shockwaves through drag racing.
