The Mishnah in Pirkei Avot says:
“Give to God what is from His, because you and all that you have belong to Him.”
“Ki mimcha hakol u’miyadecha natanu lach”—“Everything is from You, and from Your hand we give to You.”

When we realize we didn’t deserve any of this, we begin to take responsibility for it. Gratitude is not just a feeling—it’s a call to action.

The Haggadah ends with this call. “V’higadeta levincha”—You shall tell your children. Don’t let the story end with you. Carry it forward.

The final cup is poured for Eliyahu HaNavi—the prophet of redemption. We sing of a future world where every soul sings praise, and every breath is filled with purpose. We end with vision. With hope. With joy.

Because we know that the future, like the past, can turn on small decisions—on what we choose to do next.
