I’m very excited to share this collab as this is our first with DreamCatcher. Not our first attempt tho, we tried and failed to complete others in many attempts as we are both very busy, especially these days, but we finally did one regardless! He actually told me that he wanted to edit this song to tf and my greedy ass jumped in fast, and I asked him if he wanted to do a collab with it lmao. This has been sitting in my gallery for a few weeks, unfinished, but he finally did it! I’m proud of you bitch! ♥
Alright, kind of like a quick story. DreamCatcher and I go waaay back. He was actually the one who introduced me to Transformers and got me into it so bad in the first place. So I owe half of my personality and likes to him lmao. I think it was at the end of our elementary school, when he introduced me to the first TF media I have ever seen, and that was Dark of the Moon. That movie holds such a special place in my heart, as I had my best memories in life coming from that movie and the things we did together with DreamCatcher. I still love that movie to death let me tell you. Anyways after seeing all the 3 TF movies like a hundred times together (bc at the time, only the first three was released), we got into TFP, like really bad.
After school ended and summer came, I went to the usual place where me and my mom would always go; a rural place away from city life and internet (oh and also electricity). My dad would come very rarely and when I saw him he would always bring me something to watch with him so I would have a good time. This time, he started bringing bits of the G1 cartoon and I absolutely loved it. I thought it was sick and at the time, I didn’t even know english so I didn’t understand what the fuck was going on in the episodes but I still enjoyed it regardless lmao. My 13 yo ass was rooting for G1 Megatron to succeeed everytime but it never happened lol. I would drive to an internet cafe not so close to where we lived, as it was the only place that had internet, just so I can watch TF clips on youtube, and maybe even download some. I started secretly collecting tf figures as I was not allowed to waste my parents money on toys lmao and they were absolutely right as money was tight at the time. DreamCatcher had a lot of toys and we would meet up and we would just bring in the action. Anyways, know that I’m atleast a bit of a grown person, I collect figs and I’m proud of my figure collection, especially my Bayformers figs.
Anyways , after I got into G1 and all the og stuff about Transformers, I got into comics eventually and it didn’t take me very long to get into the deep lore, as the comics were rich with those. So after all the stuff DreamCatcher introduced me to, it was my time to share some of the stuff I learned with him aswell and oh man we talked day and night just talking about the lore and the backstories of the characters. I mean we still do lmao. So as much as our friendship cannot be defined by transformers and any words alone, I can’t deny the fact that if I didn’t have him in my life, a lot of good stuff I truly love wouldn’t be there. Anyways bitch I love you sm and let’s try to do more collabs together, if collage preparation doesn’t destroy me that is!
