What do classic Italian automotive masterpieces have in common with Bauhaus, mathematics, 60s F1, American muscle cars and Avantgarde metal music? They are all inspirations for the uniquely eclectic design of Nilu27. We set out to create a car with an “inevitable” design: new, fresh and yet strangely familiar; something with a strong sense of déjà vu.
NILU’s chassis, drivetrain, exterior and interior are guided by the same vision and philosophy: each is naked, minimalist and functional. And yet, they look nothing alike due to the differences in what they do.
Sculptural and lean exterior with generous flowing curves and minimal cross sections is in sharp contrast to the mechanical, intricately detailed, exposed drivetrain. Interior is a result of human ergonomics, driving essentials, tactility, haptic feedback, viewing angles and, of course, occupant safety. We believe that beauty is not in the eye of the beholder. Beauty is a property of our universe, an Absolute!
