Today I share with you a full breakdown tutorial of how to launch tiktok ads in 2024 for a Shopify drop shipping/ecommerce store. Some of these principals are universal, but these ads are built around purchase conversions.
One thing you need to understand about the tiktok platform if you are a beginner, is that the targeting really doesn't matter. You should however test a few different targeting options to see what optimizes better. That's what matters, how something optimizes (which can be quite random). This is why we test multiple ad groups at a time.
Spark ads are the top performers for me, but you should test that on your own ad account to verify (we cover this in the video). I test a minimum of 3 videos under each ad group
If your Shopify store has a discount for your product, make absolutely certain that your discount is correlated with what's shown on your store. If your ad account says 50% off, but it's actually 49% on the store, then you are technically violating the Tiktok policy. Your pricing must be congruent, otherwise it will be labeled as "misleading"
Overtime, this can lead to your ads being partially disapproved, and even your entire tiktok ad account suspended.
Tiktok ads optimize very weird, and constantly fluctuate. So make sure to keep a close eye on your ads to make changes as needed.
