The new terminal building at Colman Dock is nearing completion. See why it was necessary, how construction has proceeded, and the improved safety features and amenities for passengers. Construction began in 2017, part of the new terminal building opened in 2019, and now the full building is set to open this summer. Next up, the entry building along Alaskan Way and the elevated pedestrian walkway that links to the terminal building will open next year.
