On June 27, 2015, a thousand youngsters gathered at the Formosa Fun Coast water park in New Taipei to attend the “color powder” party. The temperature that day reached 35 degrees Celsius. After such a hot day, the party that included spraying foam and color powder at the crowd was a much-needed refreshment. The party heated up quickly, and soon everyone was partying joyfully, covered in color powder. Then, at 8:30 PM, out of nowhere, a massive ball of flame erupted and engulfed the crowd in front of the main stage. Around 500 people ended up with burns, many of them with severe injuries. The peculiar thing was that no one knew how and from where the fire occurred. However, once the source of the fire was determined, it was to the amazement of everyone.
