On August 30, 2020, the Sunny Hill Health Centre moved from East Vancouver into a state-of-the-art facility at the BC Children’s Hospital on Oak Street. The new Sunny Hill is an innovative, family-centred facility that will continue to provide specialized developmental assessments and rehabilitation care to children, youth and their families from across the province of British Columbia.
The relocation of Sunny Hill is part of the BC Children's and BC Women's Redevelopment Project, a joint initiative of the Province of British Columbia and the Provincial Health Services Authority (PHSA). Through donor support, the BC Children’s Hospital Foundation enhanced the therapy spaces with advanced technologies, state-of-the-art equipment, and works of art.
