In the spring of 2023, the body of Sr. Wilhelmina Lancaster was found remarkably preserved, in spite of sitting in a puddle of water for four years in damp Missouri ground. She had never been embalmed, and her simple, unsealed wooden casket had allowed dirt to seep through.

Since then the life and legacy of this joyful, tough-minded, traditional nun has been made known throughout the world. In light of recent news that an in-depth examination in the diocese of Kansas City-St. Joseph confirms Sr. Wilhelmina is indeed incorrupt, we are re-airing our episode with Sr. Mary Josefa, who speaks on the life, work and devotion of this remarkable nun.
