Today, hevex (@hevex ) plays the new Hypixel game mode Wool Wars with zach (@zachariah7197 ) and absolutely rails everyone! Amazing gameplay. This new prototype lobby game mode is a rip off of capture the wool from MCC (Minecraft Championship) but has been a relative success so far with almost instant queues and people searching for parties in lobby 1 bedwars.
The concept itself is decent, a suggestion would be making it so we can place blocks anywhere - if this becomes too chaotic, Hypixel could implement a timer which removes placed blocks after a set amount of time (eg. 5 seconds). Wool wars is a really fast paced mode and we do not believe it could become anything more than an arcade game at its current state. Maybe introducing permanent upgrades, cosmetics, and an actual API system will make this game worth playing. Comment your opinions down below!
