In today’s video I will make a cocktail and review a bottle of Revivalist’s “Tropical Expressions Gin.”
I was gifted a bottle of this Tropical Expressions Gin by a loyal subscriber named Matt and his wife Sparkle. Thanks to Matt & Sparkle for thinking of me and “Tipping their bartender!”
I’ll make a cocktail that let’s this gin shine through and give you some tasting notes.

"Gin On The Wind" | Cocktail Ingredients
1 1/2 oz. (45 ml) Revivalist Botanical Gin (Tropical Expressions)
3/4 oz. (22.5 ml) Velvet Falernum
1/4 oz. (7.5 ml) Orgeat (Preferaby Giffards)
1/2 oz. (15 ml) Fresh Lime Juice
Garnish: Umbrella and a Slice of Lime.

Now..I found this recipe on ModernTiki's Website.

On their site the cocktail is called Tradewinds. The recipe is their's. But I renamed it and used a different gin then they recommend. It's not your typical Tradewinds cocktail from the 70's made with rum.
I found the name on the website confusing.
Modern Tiki says it's closer to a Mai Tai really but with Gin.
Also, I may have said Cocktail wonk in there, which is not affiliated with Modern Tiki.
I'm human, yes?
