Did Dreame just "nerf" one of their best robots?
Last year, I told everyone to buy the L40 Ultra over the more expensive X40 because the value was unbeatable. It seems Dreame was listening and they weren't happy. The new L40 Ultra Gen 2 is here, and it feels like a deliberate downgrade designed to protect the flagship X-series.
But with a launch price nearly $1,000 cheaper than its predecessor, should they have even called it an L40? Today we're looking at what’s been cut, what’s been added, and if this "Gen 2" is actually a bargain or just a shadow of its former self.
