The Dann Huff Studio Elite HDX is the first production model following the prototype phase.
Built on an alder body with the classic ‘64 Strat-style shape, it includes a quartersawn maple neck with rosewood fretboard (birdseye optional).
Its electronics are loaded: slanted JTS5500 single-coils (neck & middle) paired with a Super Humbucker in the bridge. Controls include master volume, master tone, a mid-boost preamp with a bypass button, a series/parallel button for the bridge humbucker, and a “neck + bridge on” switch. The hardware is top-notch: G2TS bridge, Hipshot locking tuners, gold hardware, and classic-style knobs. The finish is “White Smear with matching headstock, white pearl pickguard, gold logo, and a Dann signature neck decal.”
