LEGO Architecture 21065 Sagrada Familía is officially the biggest LEGO set ever released in terms of piece count, with 12,060 pieces in its massive design. It's not the tallest or the widest set of all time, but there are no other sets with this many elements.
Sagrada Familía is an interesting choice given the LEGO Group's traditional hesitancy to depict churches in brick form. In fairness, this particular church has been an iconic sight in Barcelona for well over a century, even if it was only finally completed (minus extraneous extra construction) earlier this year.
