After all these years, from it's debut on the seventh generation consoles the 360 and PS3, to days of the Xbox Series X, to even the egregious world of emulation, Sonic Unleashed is finally fully playable on PC! Without a doubt the best way to play this amazing gem of a game, Unleashed Recompiled is a fan project aimed to port Unleashed to PC through the method of static recompilation. While not a decompilation, it still is an amazing technical marvel and a true example of peak game preservation! In this video I will be going over the many improvements of the game, how to install it, and of course my thoughts! Is this truly the DEFINITIVE way to play Sonic Unleashed, or is it just straight snake oil? Well watch and find out!
