In August 2025, ASUS introduced the ROG NUC (2025), which was then one of the most powerful mini gaming PCs on the market, where it was powered by Intel's "Arrow Lake HX" line-up of processors and NVIDIA's "Blackwell" GeForce RTX 5000 series of mobile GPUs. Fast forward to today, and ASUS has introduced its successor, the ROG NUC 16.
Sporting a similar aesthetic to its predecessor, the range-topping ROG NUC 16 variant comes with Intel's "Arrow Lake Refresh" Core Ultra 9 290HX Plus processor and NVIDIA's GeForce RTX 5080 Mobile GPU, alongside 32GB of DDR5 6400 memory and a 2TB NVMe SSD.
