So in the last 24 hours, there a has been a big buzz with the proposal announcement of not only receiving a one-time payment of $1,200 but instead every eligible American could receive a check for a massive $2,000 p/m for a maximum of 12 months if you make under 130,000 dollars a year.

This has a come at a time where the people of America need it the most. It has just been announced that unemployment is at an all-time highest, reporting an absurd 22 million Americans have filed for unemployment. This coupled with the recent announcement from the SBA that have entirely run out of funding for small businesses. That’s a whopping $250B has been completely exhausted. So, if you’re wondering when your SBA loan is going to be funded… you might be out of luck..

Because of this, they have proposed a potential further $250B injection to continue to help small businesses, in light of further stay-at-home extensions. So, what about you, the average working American?

Even if you’ve received your first $1,200 stimulus, you’re probably consumed, and even a bit scared how that will cover all that you’ve lost in the past month or two, or even how you will able stretch that check for the foreseeable future.

Introducing the proposed $2,000 per month stimulus check. So, in this video, we’re going to find out the likelihood of this actually happening, what it means for you, and how you can be eligible for it?

So, what exactly is this?
Well, there was a proposal made just yesterday to increase the 2.2T stimulus package, they are calling it the ‘Emergency money for the people act’. It is yet to be passed.

What does it include? And who is eligible?

The proposal would include a stipend of $2,000 per month for single, or $4000 per month for married couples for 6 months, extending potentially to one full year, to all American over the age of 16. Couples with a child will receive $500 per child, capped at a maximum of 3 children for $1,500. All-in-all the maximum that potentially could be received for a married couple with 3 children is a massive $5,500 per month. Another thing that worth mentioning is that college students and people with disabilities who were claimed as a dependent on taxes will no longer be excluded.

These monthly payments will not count as income, and therefore be tax-free. It would also not affect Americans who are applying for federal income-assisted programs either. So, you don’t have to worry about being disqualified from any current program you are enrolled in, or eligible for.

Well, if one thing apparent a one-size-fits-all approach does not work.

As far as small businesses are concerned, the news isn’t as good, not of yet anyway. There are plans that are yet to be announced, but for right now we don’t have any updates. The funds have been all accounted for, Not funded, that’s important to note as only about 5% of business that has applied and been accounted for, have actually been funded. Is it realistic to speculate that there will be a further cash injection? The plan is to add an additional 250B to the already 349B by the republican party. The democrats would also like to extend and increase additional funding to nurses, doctors, and healthcare workers. I would be extremely confident in saying yes. Receiving anytime soon, not so much. Which for a lot of small businesses which are on the clock, can mean the difference between shutting the doors permanently and having a renaissance.

So that’s great everyone receiving $2,000 per month, but will it actually happen?
