For centuries, Inuit and other early North American tribes have told legends of Woolly Mammoths. For a shorter, but still prolonged, amount of time, it was believed people could not possibly have been interacting with Woolly Mammoths less than 100,000 years ago. New findings shake both those statements, and bring to question not only our history with the Mammoths, but the possibility of our continued interaction with them.
