For decades now unmarked green M1 helmet covers have sporadically appeared for sale online, in surplus stores, at shows and so on. To add to this often times they appear to be in brand new, unissued condition. This along with some variances and hearsay has led to a number of speculations, discussions, and theories about their origin and potential usages which will be talked a bit about in this video.
