The sound of the Murmaids, (sisters Carol and Terry Fischer, along with Sally Gordon) was as refreshing as a sea breeze. Their only big hit was "Popsicles and Icicles", but this single is one of my favorites. It didn't chart nationally, but locally in the Top 30 in Tuscaloosa, Alabama in May 1964, Top 40 in Springfield, Massachusetts and Top 60 in New Haven, Connecticut.
