The Multical, also known as the Multator, is a mechanical calculator with an ingenious design. It uses a toothed segment mechanism that can be much more easily manufactured than a pinwheel mechanism, and many clever simplifications without significant reduction in functionality. It was made in West Germany between 1956 and 1966.
