Need a different rim for your mouthpiece? Matt Frost is great to work with! Here's his link.... frostcustombrass.net
An excellent Bach Mt Vernon 7C mouthpiece is played here - and it is hard to beat. Also compared; 2 Bach NY 7C's, a great Patrick CR5Z, Reeves 42C, GR64MX, and Warburton's 6MD. I also pull out a new (to me) Bach 7B (Big!) and even a 7A (Huge!!). I play these primarily with a Bach 37 SterlingSilverPlus with a ReverseLeadpipe, but I also use a King Golden Flair and an Edwards Gen II. Just looking for the perfect sound! And which sound do you like best? :)
Mouthpieces played:
GR64MX: 4:42
Mt.Vernon 7C: 5:41
NY 7C: 8:00
NY 7C: 10:39
GR64MX: 11:25
Modern 7C: 13:00
Patrick CR5Z: 14:45
Reeves 42C: 16:25
Warburton 6MD: 18:15
Bach Mt. V 7C: 19:18
New Bach 7B: 21:10
New Bach 7A: 23:03
King Golden Flair w/ Mt. V 7C: 25:33
Edwards Gen II w/ Mt. V 7C: 28:02
Edwards Gen II w/ Mt. V 7C: 29:35
