There are of course many reasons why Jannik Sinner is so dominant from the baseline.
One of the reasons Sinner is so effective, is a specific movement pattern that he uses incredibly well … and this is something that many club players, and even high-performance junior players, really struggle with.
Most players spend a lot of time practicing their strokes, but they don’t practice this type of movement nearly enough.
In this new video, I reveal exactly what this movement pattern is, why Sinner uses it so effectively, and how you can improve it in your own game.
I’ll also show you the work I’ve done with David, one of Germany’s top junior players on this movement pattern.
When David first came to me, he was already very good at moving side to side. However, he struggled with this other movement pattern, and it was holding him back.
Using hand-feed drills, live-ball drills, and point play, we worked specifically on improving this part of his movement. David made great progress and even went on to win his first European level tournament over the summer!
