On this day, September 11, in 1857, a group of Mormons in Southern Utah massacred a wagon train of innocent men, women, and children. What followed was a cover up that would last for years. In this video I am discussing the massacre, a book I read about it, and some pictures from a recent visit to the site of the massacre.
Books mentioned:
Vengeance is Mine (not recommended)
Wife No. 19 by Eliza Ann Young
The Blood of the Prophets by Will Bagley (haven't read but comes highly recommended)
A Cry from the Dust by Carrie Stuart Parks
