The largest sequence of earthquakes in North America occurred 200 years ago in its 'Heartland.' This is directly beneath the proposed Heartland model geography and may explain the eye-witness accounts made by the ancient prophets of the Book of Mormon. They wrote of the "exceedingly great quaking of the whole earth" that shook the "whole earth as if it was about to divide asunder." Buildings were "shaken" until they had "fallen to the earth." These descriptions in 3 Nephi 8 match remarkably those who experienced firsthand the 1811-1812 earthquakes. The documentary is available from the bookstore at BookofMormonEvidence.org
