Designing For is a series which looks at one specific level, character, or idea in gaming and breaks down the central theme to that element to figure out what it's, well, designing for! In this episode, we don't do that. Instead, we play a children's racing game as a follow-up to the rest of Rare's output during the time and watch in bafflement as it messes up its own difficulty curve to the point of being weirdly cruel and brutal by the end.
