I came to Vietnam expecting Hanoi and Ha Long Bay to be beautiful.
I didn't expect one random conversation with a beautiful Vietnamese woman to become one of the highlights of the entire trip.
From cruising through the breathtaking limestone islands of Ha Long Bay, to exploring the village where *Kong: Skull Island* was filmed, to meeting incredible locals along the way... this adventure reminded me why I love traveling through Southeast Asia.
After visiting Ha Long Bay, I honestly believe it's one of the most slept-on tourist destinations in Southeast Asia.
