Puerto Vallarta is a very popular beach destination for Americans and Canadians, but most people flock to the all-inclusive resorts that costs thousands of dollars per week. In this video, well show you how far we were able to push our backpacker budget in Puerto Vallarta. Some parts of life here are really affordable, and others are surprisingly more expensive than what we pay in Canada (Im looking at you, gas and dog food 😒). While we go through this budget with you, we take you around the city of Puerto Vallarta to show you what life is really like here (off the resorts of course!). We try some a Mexican breakfast dish called chilaquiles for the first time, climb to Hill of the Cross Viewpoint, grab some groceries, give you an Air BnB tour, take you to our favourite running spot, and show you the best beach for sunsets in Puerto Vallarta. For our travel and work needs, Puerto Vallarta has been a great getaway.
