If your looking to make realistic fake wood, this is the easiest way to get it done. All you need to do this is a piece of high density insulation foam board and a wire brush! Yup that's it the only tool you need is a wire brush. If you lay the brush across the board and then drag it from one end to the other, it will create a light graining affect. If you change the angle of the brush and add more pressure you can achieve a more aggressive worn out texture. If you apply both methods to your project you will come out with a great looking worn out old board!
