She is a research associate of the National Bureau of Economics Research in the Monetary Economics group. Binder is an associate editor at two journals, the Review of Economics and Statistics and the Journal of Money, Credit, and Banking. She is also on the Advisory Panel of the Catholic Research Economists Discussion Organization.
