Portrait of Les Paul 1959 – “Memphis Mojo.” This is the most significant and most challenging project of my entire artistic career with guitars. When I first saw it in a photo alongside a Greeny on the Abalone Vintage website, I couldn’t sleep. It was then, upon seeing this stunning '59 Burst, that I realized I would dedicate myself to artistic relicing. I’ve been working toward this for over ten years, and with every new project, I’ve devised new ways to age guitars so that I could eventually apply them to the Memphis Mojo project.
