Hynafol is a new event that took place last year in November just outside of Austin, Texas.

The event rents out the entire grounds of one of the most beautiful Renaissance Faire locations in the US: Sherwood Forest Faire. The site is complete with hundreds of buildings, stages, taverns, huge campgrounds, and tons of amazing spaces for play to take place.
Hynafol allowed their participants to camp both inside a real castle and INSIDE the grounds of the Renaissance Faire making it one of the only events in the US to do so.
During the event everyone had to be in costume and for a first time larp event people really stepped up and created incredible costumes.
The battles were large, intense, and very strategic. Each battle had two sides and a series of objectives that each army had to try to achieve all while fight off attackers.
All in all this was an incredibly immersive, larp event that took Texas by storm and they're doing it again in November!
