I've been painting minis for a long time, and most of the models I paint are pretty cheap, but this time, well this is a collectors item, from a long time ago. The rarity and age of this model makes it quite expensive, even ignoring the cost of the company that made it.
But unlike the average collector, who will hide a model away and waste its potential, I'm a painter, and I'll paint this thing.
