In this video we look at Kokatat's Tempest Pants using their Hydrus 3.0 material. Kokatat has two versions of the Tempest Pant; one using Hydrus 3.0 material and the other using Gore-Tex. The main difference is that Gore-Tex comes with a slightly higher price tag for the increase in durability and breathability. We have been using these on all trips requiring a significant amount of wading in rivers, or for trips calling for lots of rain.
